Product description
WORLD'S MOST PACKABLE WALKING BOOT
If you love the regular Boulder Boot, we have something exciting for you: the Lems Boulder Boot Waterproof. This upgraded version kept all the familiar features (flexible, zero-drop, easy storage, wide enough to give your toes room,...), but is now also completely waterproof! That's right, you can dive into your next adventure with dry feet.
A waterproof Boulder Boot had long been the most frequently asked question at Lems. And Lems made them worth the wait. Lems also took the time to evaluate the overall construction of the regular leather Boulder Boots and strengthened quite a few things in this waterproof version: from a thicker wire to an overall stronger outer construction. This makes the Boulder Boots Waterproof the sturdiest Lems yet. Still, these Boulder Boots remain a lightweight at 365 grams (size 43)
Waterproof
A breathable waterproof membrane prevents water from penetrating the shoe, while still allowing heat to escape from your feet. In addition, they were lined with a pre-treated water-repellent leather upper. (To maintain maximum water repellency, re-treat them occasionally with a water-repellent wax/spray).
Features:
- Upper: oiled leather
- 100% waterproof membrane
- Lining: leather + moisture-wicking lining
- Outsole: 9.0mm LemsRubber™
- Footbed: removable 3.5mm moisture-wicking PU insole. Do you want a more barefoot feeling? Remove or replace the footbed with a thinner insole (thinner insole not included)
- Drop: 0.0mm (Zero-Drop)
- Weight: 365g (size 43)
Sizing:
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length. Do you want to measure your feet easily at home? You can with the Plus12
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
Correct Toes Approved:
- Zero Drop: in other words no elevation in the heel
- No toespring (or the sole is flexible enough that the toes come flat when loaded)
- Wide at the toes: allows natural toe spread
- Flexible sole: allows natural movement of the foot
In barefoot shoes with the "Correct Toes Approved" label, most people will be able to wear Correct Toes.
