Product description
Buying shoes online is difficult. Especially since not all brands use the same sizes. That is why we always recommend measuring your feet. An easy way to do this is with the Plus12.
A barefoot or minimalist shoe should be at least 7 to 12 mm longer than your foot. Here 7 mm is the absolute minimum, but 12 mm is more optimal. Know that there are also people who prefer 15, 18 or even 20 mm space. As long as your heel is secure enough in the shoe - and your foot does not move left and right because the shoe is too wide - extra space in front is just extra luxury.
With the Plus12 you can easily measure the length of your foot. The length you read off the Plus12 = the length of your foot PLUS 12 mm. So you immediately know the optimal inside length of your shoe. Then you simply look at the inside measurements in mm for your desired shoe. With each new model of barefoot shoes we measure this length ourselves. Then we mention it on the site. (For example US9 | 42 | 27.6 cm. So this shoe has as American size 9, European size 42 and according to our measurements this shoe has an inner dimension of 27.6 cm).
Attention: even within a brand, different models can use a different size table. So always buy your shoes by the inside length and not by the size! In addition, the data on our website may differ from the data on the manufacturer's website. We measure all shoes ourselves and are therefore certain of our measurements!
