The Vibram Fivefingers V-Trail 2.0 (black/yellow) is the improved successor of the original 2017 Vibram Fivefingers V-Trail. The V-trail 2.0 is equipped with 3D Cocoon: a thin and flexible mesh embedded in the sole. This ensures that the pressure (from, for example, stones in the ground) is distributed across the entire sole. So you keep the thin flexible sole, but you get an extra layer of protection against rough ground. In addition, the Megagrip sole with its many studs on the sole provides extra grip in muddy and wet conditions.

Compared to the original version, this V-Trail 2.0 has a kind of taping around the toes (this provides a sturdier seam) and a more water repellent upper material.

Sole composition:

The total thickness of the sole is 5.7mm. (This is also slightly thicker than the original V-Trail) From outside to inside this is:

• 3.7mm Vibram Megagrip-rubber with 3D Cocoon in it
• 2mm EVA insole + polyester lining.

The Vibram Fivefingers V-trail 2.0 is the ideal shoe for running on uneven terrain such as trailrunning and obstacle courses.
