Product description
Are you looking for new barefoot trainers? The Vivobarefoot Addis Triple Black for men is not only stylish, but you also support the Ethiopian economy.
The Vivobarefoot Addis Triple Black is made in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa. In this project that was established in 2017, Vivobarefoot works together with Pittards: one of the largest tanneries in Africa. They comply with European standards and use their own water treatment plant, which avoids harmful chemicals. The shoes are stitched by hand, using leather from local, free-roaming herds and are independently verified for quality, materials and ethical production.
Features:
- Leather upper
- Outsole: The Addis sole is inspired by the Laetoli footprints found in Tanzania. These are the oldest recorded human footprints, dating back approximately 3.7 million years. The 4mm thin ergonomic sole provides amazing natural movement and more than adequate ground feel in the urban environment.
- Stitched outsole
- Handcrafted in Ethiopia
- Non-removable leather insole
Sizing:
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length. Would you like to measure your feet easily at home? This is possible with the Plus12
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables also circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
