Training with Blackroll

BLACKROLL® was initially developed to provide athletes with a smart tool for self-myofascial treatment (SMT = "self myofascial techniques"). But in recent years, more and more coaches, athletes and sports scientists have also introduced the BLACKROLL® into their functional training.

Recovery (regeneration)

BLACKROLL® is a great tool for mobilising muscles and fascia, making it an ideal accompaniment to your daily workout. With minimal time (about five minutes a day), you can improve the elasticity and capacity of your muscle system. Introducing the BLACKROLL® into your daily workout can help prevent typical sports injuries and also help your body compensate for muscle imbalances. By improving blood flow, you can reduce recovery time. Usually, when working with the BLACKROLL®, one muscle group is treated at a time.

Functional Training

But BLACKROLL® products don't just help with regeneration. They are also a perfect complement to your functional training. By consciously using the instability created by the round shapes of these products, old and familiar exercises in the workout can be made more difficult and effective in a simple way. This can be compared to the mechanics of a Balance-Board.
