The Baak Phoenix is a certified barefoot safety shoe. Safety class S3, aluminium toe cap, oil- and heat-resistant non-slip sole and electrostatic discharge.

    Size chart

The Baak Phoenix is one of the very first barefoot work shoes that is a true certified safety shoe. So this shoe has a wide toe-box, is completely flat (zero-drop) and has a relatively flexible sole. But on top of that, the Baak Phoenix meets the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard with safety class S3S FO HRO SR ESD.

    Features:

    • Safety class S3S
    • Toe protection: aluminimum Baak Flex Cap
    • FO: oil-resistant sole
    • HRO: heat-resistant sole (EVA Rubber, briefly resistant to 300°C)
    • SR: non-slip sole
    • ESD: electrostatic discharge
    • BAAK NeoShield Anti Penetration: BAAK NeoShield is an innovative new anti-penetration insole made from 100% recycled material. It is not only much thinner than conventional materials, but also weighs about 50% lighter. BAAK NeoShield is softer and therefore also more flexible than traditional anti-penetration insoles.
    • Zero-drop insoles included (Please note: to comply with safety standards, insoles must not be removed!)
    • Upper: abrasion-resistant, water-resistant textile (40% recycled material)

    Sizing:

We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length.

Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
