The Doghammer Terrar Wool Steinschaf is yet another new version of the Terrar Wool. The great thing about this version is that it’s slightly wider than the other versions of the Terrar Wool! The wool from the German stone sheep, combined with the cork sole, ensures perfect temperature regulation, especially in spring, autumn and winter (though you can also wear them in summer). What’s more, the wool has antibacterial properties and neutralises odours.
Thanks to the lanolin (wool fat) in the wool, the shoes are also slightly water- and dirt-repellent.Therefore, be sure not to use soap to clean the shoes, as you will remove the lanolin!
The supple sole is completely in line with the barefoot feel: plenty of room at the toes and extremely supple. And thanks to the elastic laces, this shoe is easy to put on and take off.
Features:
- Upper: 90% wool from the German Steinschaf, 10% LWG-certified leather
- Lining: temperature-regulating merino wool. The merino wool ensures a balanced foot climate whether it is hot or cold outside.
- Closure: laces of recycled polyester
- Insole: recycled cork
- Outsole: 80 % natural rubber, 20 % synthetic rubber
- Handmade in Portugal. With short delivery routes and regional resources, Doghammer consciously makes production sustainable. This ensures the smallest possible ecological footprint.
Sizing:
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length.
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
