The Vivobarefoot Primus Trail 3.5 FG Obsidian (Men) was designed to get you back to nature. Its grippy, flexible studded sole ensures maximum performance and optimal freedom of movement on uneven terrain. The Vivobarefoot Primus Trail 3.5 FG is breathable, robust and flexible. All this makes this shoe the ideal barefoot trail or hiking shoe.
This successor to the Primus Trail II is a new step at Vivobarefoot to create a fully circular shoe: a Vivobarefoot shoe made from an old shoe and whose materials are in turn reused in a new shoe. The Primus Trail 3.5 is a big step forward on this journey. With an outsole already fully recyclable, the challenge now is to create an upper made of 100% polyester, which can also be recycled again. The upper of this new Primus Trail 3.5 goes from 34% (in the Primus Trail II) to 76% polyester, of which 93% is already recycled.
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length.
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables also circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
