The XeroShoes Mesa Summit Army Green Men’s offers natural freedom of movement and lightweight durability, specially designed for rough terrain. This barefoot trail or walking shoe features an ESS Rock Guard for extra protection and a minimalist upper reinforced with a durable, 3D-printed overlay. Despite this, it remains a lightweight trail running shoe.
The ESS Rock Guard is incorporated into those areas of the sole that absorb the most impact.
‘ESS’ stands for Ethyl Vinyl Acetate Stability Sheet and is a thin, protective layer incorporated into the midsole of the Mesa Summit. It protects the underside of the foot from pointed rocks, sharp roots or uneven terrain, without making the whole shoe too stiff or cumbersome. (Naturally, this does make it slightly stiffer than a barefoot trail running shoe that does not have this feature)
Features:
- Lightweight
- Revamped upper made from wear- and dirt-resistant polyester mesh, reinforced with a 3D-printed overlay
- Plenty of room at the toes
- Zero-drop
- Vegan
- Strategically positioned ESS Rock Guard, embedded in a layer of high-quality foam that protects areas exposed to heavy impacts
- Stack Height: 12mm (9.5mm + 3.5mm removable insole)
- Lugs: 3.5mm

Sizing:
We are often asked what size barefoot shoes you should choose. Unfortunately the answer is not that simple. Each brand has its own size chart and even within different models of the same brand there are often differences. Therefore it is important that you measure the length of your feet. A minimalist shoe is at least 8, but preferably 12mm longer than your foot length.
Unfortunately, wrong/old measurement tables circulate on the internet. Therefore, we measure the length of the insole ourselves and add it to the size chart. This way you can determine your ideal size.
