Irritations or friction? The easiest solution is often one that many of our customers already know: wear toe socks . This extra layer of fabric creates a separation between the Correct Toes and the skin.
Friction at the tip of your big toe or the outside of your little toe is often caused by the wrong footwear. First, do the Shoe Liner Test™: remove the insole from your shoe (if possible) and stand on the insole with your Correct Toes on. This way you can see if the shoe is wide and/or long enough (your foot/toes should not go over the edge of the sole). Are you wearing classic shoes? Then they are probably not wide enough. Most minimalist or barefoot shoes give you the space you need.
Always try the above solutions before making any further adjustments to your Correct Toes. Use a sharp, fine-tipped pair of scissors for adjustments.
